WWE Rock The Caucus

Today is Election Day. WWE doesn’t exactly have the best record when it comes to politics, but that shouldn’t stop you from going out to vote.

Before you let your voice be heard, watch this video featuring none other than Mr. Kennedy belittling young voters for not participating in the Iowa Caucus. He even takes a shot at his own mom! She’s standing right there, Ken!

As an aside, if this came out during the Attitude Era, it would have been called something like “Smack Your Caucus”. Thankfully, times have changed.

Matt Hardy Hands Out Green Beans For Halloween

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again; Broken Matt Hardy wasn’t my thing. Maybe I didn’t quite get it or Maybe I needed to watch every instance of it to get the genius, but eh, not my thing. I mean, come on.

That being said, seeing him hand out green beans to trick or treaters on Halloween is amazing. What a treat!

Just picture a whacked-out Hardy going to his local farmers market giving an emphatic “DELIGHTFUL” while getting some locally-sourced produce, fresh honey, and a sweater made out of the itchiest wool possible.

It’s The Brood Day

The fellas in The New Day decided to have a little Halloween fun for their Trick Or Treat Street Fight by dressing up like The Brood. I have to say, the blonde wigs are a good look on them.

I also have to say:

Brood Day rocks!

Brood Day rocks!

Brood Day rocks!

Elvira Wants You To Watch Halloween Havoc

Back in 1990, WCW had none other than Elvira, Mistress Of The Dark promote their Halloween Havoc pay-per-view. It was genius. And she was joined by Sid Vicious as Frankenstein. Double genius!

How did WCW follow this up? Was she on the pay-per-view? Was she Sid’s manager? Did she become a pro wrestler?

Nope. Nothing. Nada. WCW WCW’d it up.

Shocking!

Spike Huber In WWF

It wasn’t uncommon in the 80’s for a wrestler to have a “blink and you miss it” run in the WWF. Maybe a few months working shows, a couple of television appearances, and then you’re gone. A “cup of coffee” as it is sometimes known. One such wrestler was Spike Huber in 1984.

A former multiple-time tag team champion in WWA, the son-in-law of Dick the Bruiser made his way to New York to play his trade. It didn’t amount to much with a few loses to the likes of Mr. Fuji and Moondog Rex, but it was enough to score an interview with “Mean” Gene Okerlund.

What do you think? Does Spike Huber set the world on fire in this one or would Gorilla Monsoon call him a “ham and egger”?
