  1. RhineStoneCowboy says:

I was excited right up until the pre order bit

  2. Big Jim says:

Anybody catch the last slam that the Warrior character does in gameplay? Looks like quite a MACHO slam to me. Even more excited for that!

  3. TK says:

Now if they can only settle things in the WWE itself with the Warrior (heard this is simply with 2K Sports the deal), Ryback might actually have a mentor. Oh and HHH you’d know would want his win back.

  4. Paul says:

    Best part: Howard MFing Finkel!

  5. Anonymous says:

This is by far the greatest wrestling game commercial of all time, and one of the greatest video game commercials of all time period.

BTW, what happened to Smackdown vs. Raw? How long has it been WWE 2K?

  6. Jay "The Brain" Mann says:

Eh, tell me when Phil Collins is playable. ūüėõ

Seriously, though, Warrior’s still got it in the promo department. I’ve never heard someone say “WWE Universe” so naturally before.

  7. Horsemen4ever says:

This is better than anything in his WCW run.

    That’s been inducted, right?

    • Paul says:

I just noticed that he’s still repping the One Warrior Nation in the commercial. It’s quite a contest to see who’ll last longer: Warrior repping OWN or Virgil being, quite literally, nWo 4 Life.

    • "The Big Cheese" Paul Kraft says:

Yes, yes it has been inducted. ūüôā

  8. ScMcS says:

I would give my left nut to see Warrior show up on Raw and cut a 20-minute promo… or squash Heath Slater, but that train left the station last July.

  9. Nickety-Split says:

The most coherent promo he’s ever done.

  10. 80's Guy says:

That was freakin’ awesome. Hilarious stuff.

Could this open the door to a possible appearance and HOF induction????

  11. AlexanAdru says:

A promo by Warrior I could actually understand?!! Now I have seen everything. BTW nice commercial

  12. Charles Johnson says:

Only an Ultimate Warrior could pull off white jeans.

  13. Cactus Mac says:

Thank god the Universe didn’t explode from the massive amounts of destrucity in that commercial!

Seriously, if WWE put the Warrior in all of it’s video game commercials, they would easily outsell Halo, GTA and Mario combined.

  14. Raven7309 says:

It’s funny, I just finished watching this commercial on IGN’s website before coming here. All that’s missing is his big-ass feathered hair-do from his first run in WWE, seeing as how he has it in the game, but has a buzzcut in real life. Eh, maybe if he does another commercial, they can slap a wig on him.
As cool as it is to see him back in a “mainstream” WWE game, am I the only one who remembers his appearance in ” WWE All Stars” when it was released 3 years ago?

  15. BaltoJim says:

For a second there, I though Sting had gone back to his old look. Then I realized I had the sound turned off…

    • "The Big Cheese" Paul Kraft says:

You know, it’s funny because the first thing I thought was “He really does look like early-90’s Sting with that makeup style and haircut‚Ķ”

  16. John says:

That was a better commercial than anything Cena would have been in.

  17. James S says:

Warrior coming back to these kinds of things make sense, but he’s too old to wrestle anymore. Also if Vince vs. Warrior happened at WrestleMania, there is no way that it wouldn’t be an induction on this site. I’m surprised it’s taken this long to induct vince vs. Bret Hart at WrestleMania.

  18. Greg says:

Kraft already stole my don’t make the world work joke. That’s all I got. An obscure Spoony reference.

Now, what would be amazing is if they included Santa Claus as a hidden character. I think you know the shenanigans that would ensue from that match up!

    • Raven7309 says:

After reading the “Warrior” comic book induction, all I can say with regards to Santa is: “What has been seen cannot be unseen.” :O

  19. Simplerollup says:

Great commercial, but am I the only one who thought those screeshots looked awful?

  20. Eddie says:

Why everybody keep saying Ultimate Warrior? I’m looking at 1989 Sting here. Did Warrior not make it to taping that day or something?
