It Came From YouTube: Somethin’ Fishy’s going on with George “The Animal” Steele, and Greg “The Hammer” Valentine

As discussed on WrestleCrap Radio way back in December of 2008 (available for your listening pleasure in the WrestleCrap Archives) here’s the pitch reel (trailer?) for “Somethin’ Fishy” staring George “The Animal” Steele and Greg “The Hammer” Valentine! Quoting right from the description in the YouTube video:

When retired World Wrestling Entertainment’s (WWE), George “The Animal” Steele and Greg “The Hammer” Valentine buy a fish camp in the back woods of Florida, somethin’ fishy is bound to happen!

Written and directed by Arte Tedesco. This independent film is loads of fun with references to the good ole days when the two wrestlers battled in the ring.

Visit for more information and to view hilarious outtakes!

I assume this thing never actually got produced beyond this pitch reel.

I can’t find any references to it on Amazon or the IMDB, and the website is long gone.

What a shame. I would have totally watched a feature-length movie of this.

I can just imagine all the wacky hijinks these two would get into together.

Will they catch a fish?

If so, will they keep it or throw it back?

Will George make his world famous potato pancakes as a side dish? (“Guaranteed to be tastier than a turnbuckle!” he says).

Will George make a goofy repulsed face when he sees Greg put ketchup on his fish just before taking his first bite of their catch of the day?

Will they try Sir Alec’s lovely wife Ellie’s special vinegar mix over their “chips”?

So many questions left unanswered. How will I ever sleep tonight?

Shame we didn’t get introduced to the rest of the cast. Gotta like the Dukes of Hazzardish opening narration.
    Catchy theme song too!

    • "The Big Cheese" Paul Kraft says:

Yeah, I like the theme song a lot; too. It does remind me of Dukes of Hazzard now that I think of it. Not as cool as Waylon, but then again; few singers are. 🙂

Vince McMahon should pick up this show and air it on the WWE Network set to be launched sometime in 2012? lol. This would be a lot better than Legend’s House

  2. UKW says:

Is this the start to one of those Friday Night Cinemax movies?
