Venice Beach, CA – AEW/ROH tag team The Outrunners released a video wishing all their fans a Happy 1988.
The video, which is now available on VHS for $14.99 plus $5 shipping and handling, features Truth Magnum and Turbo Floyd. The fluorescent duo are pumping iron, working on their tans, and being rad, bad dudes with attitude.
“If you’ve got the stuff. If you’ve got the glitz. If you’ve got the glamour, then The Outrunners want to wish you a very Happy New Year 1988!” shouted Magnum. “Tell ‘em, Turb!”
“You’re looking at two young, Grade A slabs of beef that are ready to take over AEW in the new year!” growled Floyd.
Excessive star-wipes, vertical slides, and stock, synth-heavy workout music fill the video, interspersed with clips of the tag team performing their signature moves. Fans also can watch clips of the group make predictions for 1988 and shill for their hotline.
The video is currently sold out on the AEW Shop website, but fans are hopeful for a release on Betamax.
