Fort Lauderdale, FL – Former WWE executive Shane McMahon has revealed that he has been spending extra time at the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport in hopes of getting pictures and autographs from travelling wrestlers.
The former scion of the WWE organization has been spotted at the airport over the past several weeks hanging out. After pictures of McMahon with both AEW head Tony Khan and EVPs The Young Bucks hit social media, many suspect that it is simply a matter of time before he joins the company.
Setting up at the Air Margaritaville bar, McMahon kept an eye on multiple terminals. Keeping his phone charged, the former WWE European Champion checked to make sure his Sharpie markers still worked and that his pile of 8×10 photographs did not get bent in his bag.
“Darby! Hey, Darby Allin!” said McMahon spotting the AEW star heading to baggage claim. “It’s me. Shane O Mac. Hey, let’s get a picture real quick. Definitely don’t post this on social media, heh, heh!” winked McMahon.
“Oh! Marina Shafir! I know you! Quick selfie!” shouted McMahon chasing after the AEW women’s division competitor, shoving several other autograph seekers out of the way.
“Hey, Shane! Want a picture with your old buddy?” asked Chris Jericho.
“Uhhhh….sorry, I don’t…do I know you?” asked Shane McMahon awkwardly.
“Come on! It’s me. Y you know! Y2J! The Ayatollah Of Rock n Rolla! Chris Jericho!”
“Yeeeeahhh, I’m not, uh…have we…oh! Luther! Come take a black and white photo with me!” said Shane McMahon, chasing after Dr. Luther, leaving Jericho behind.
