Chicago, IL – WWE Superstar CM Punk has once again asked “The Wiseman” Paul Heyman for a favor.
Over the past few months, Punk has alluded to Heyman owing him a favor for helping Roman Reigns. That favor was revealed on an episode of Smackdown when Punk announced that Heyman would be in his corner at Wrestlemania. Unfortunately for Heyman, that was not the only courtesy that would be requested.
Early Saturday morning, the former ECW head arrived at Punk’s house. Despite wearing a suit and tie, Heyman was ready to work.
“Okay, Paul. We need to move this couch, those two bookshelves, and a few more things into the basement so we can paint these walls and put in a new carpet,” explained CM Punk.
Over the next several hours, Heyman lifted, carried, and transported furniture in and out of the former champion’s home. Sweat soaked through his designer clothing as he gingerly angled a coffee table through a narrow hallway.
Tensions rose slightly when Heyman accidentally dropped a milk crate containing Punk’s vinyl collection.
“Hey! Careful!” shouted Punk. “Don’t bend my copy of The Misfits’ Cough/Cool. There’s only like 500 of those.”
Exhausted, Heyman slumped down on a couch after a hard day’s work.
“Thanks, Paul,” said CM Punk, slapping him on the back. “I really appreciate your help and next week, when you help me beat Roman Reigns, it will all be worth it. Oh, also, I’m going to need a ride to the airport.”
