Luchaville, CA – On Wednesday, All Elite Wrestling officially announced the signing of beloved cartoon wrestler Rikochet.
“I’ve been a fan of Rikochet for years,” explained AEW head Tony Khan. “Mucha Lucha was a very impactful show when I was a kid. Every Saturday morning, I’d watch my favorite wrestler learn the ways of the luchadore at the Foremost World-Renowned International School of Lucha.”
“It is a great honor to be a part of AEW,” said the pint-sized masked wrestler. “Along with my friends Buena Girl and The Flea, I will be a positive example of the luchador traditions of honor, integrity, and never removing my mask.”
“There really are so many matchup possibilities with Rikochet,” said Khan excitedly. “Obviously, everyone wants to see him put on another 10-star classic with Will Osprey. Personally, I’d love to see him hit MJF with a Pulverizing Pinball. Oh, or maybe a Spinning Top on Swerve! So cool!”
Fellow AEW newcomer Ricochet has not made an official statement on the recent signing so the similarly named wrestler, but has been in fights with several strangers on social media.
