Norfolk, VA – All Elite Wrestling has announced a gargantuan 48-man tag team match for this week’s episode of Dynamite.
“Full Gear was a major success,” said Khan. “Incredible action, amazing athleticism, and storytelling ruled the night. Almost everything went off without a hitch. Unfortunately, we couldn’t do everything we want in such a limited time.”
Despite running for four hours, Khan felt they could have used more time.
“There’s just so much we wanted to do, but we couldn’t get to all of it,” explained Khan. “So many dangling storylines and unused roster members left out. Full Gear should’ve been known as Too Full Gear. As the leader of AEW, I, and my accountants, were frustrated we couldn’t include everyone. Well, we’re going to fix that this Wednesday on Dynamite!”
The swiftly-ballooning AEW roster has led to a larger-than average number of competitors in need of air time. Despite having two television shows and multiple Youtube shows, many are relishing at the chance to be seen.
“The Return On My Investment Tag Team Extravaganza” as it is now known will feature members of the AEW roster who did not participate in Full Gear. Officials have announced that the ring will be reinforced to hold all of the participants.
The match will feature Aaron Solo, Angelico, Anthony Bowens, Austin Gunn, Billy Gunn, Bobby Fish, Brian Cage, Brian Pillman Jr., Christopher Daniels, Chuck Taylor, Colten Gunn, Daniel Garcia, Dante Martin, Darius Martin, Dustin Rhodes, Frankie Kazarian, Fuego Del Sol, Griff Garrison, Isiah Kassidy, Jack Evans, Jeff Parker, Marq Quen, Matt Hardy, and Trent will face Jay Lethal, Kip Sabian, Lance Archer, Lee Johnson, Lee Moriarty, Lio Rush, Luther, Mark Henry, Matt Lee, Matt Sydal, Max Caster, Nick Comoroto, Paul Wight, Powerhouse Hobbs, Peter Avalon, QT Marshall, Serpentico, Shawn Dean, Shawn Spears, Sting, Sonny Kiss, The Blade, The Butcher, and Tony Nese.
“We’re really excited to have so many wrestlers competing in front of a huge television audience,” said Khan happily. “It feels realyl good to get the rest of the roster some TV time. No one gets left out,”
After being informed that there are still more members of the AEW roster that are not involved in the match, Khan created a new Dailymotion-only show titled “AEW: Earn Your Paycheck”.
