WCW TV remote control Bill Goldberg

Bryan over at The WCW Worldwide Blog found this WCW Bill Goldberg TV remote control!

It’s perfect for when you want to change the channel from another terrible episode of WCW Monday Nitro to just about anything else!

  1. #OPC says:

Looks more like Gillberg than Goldberg.

  2. John C says:

The product was pulled from stores due to the Goldberg figure punching out anything in the room made of glass. TV screens were being destroyed all around the nation also the Goldberg remote would have to be shelved for months due to the resulting injury to his hands. Other WCW defective remote control devices would soon appear, a Kevin Nash one that refused to do anything and a Hulk Hogan one that would not put any channels over.

    • Cameron A. says:

The Ric Flair remote worked reliably for a while, but the user invariably became angry when the remote wanted the user to set a macro. The user inexplicably threw the Ric Flair remote away, yelling in front of anyone who would listen that (s)he was going to break the Ric Flair remote.

When the user next used the Flair remote six months later, the remote went crazy and changed the channels to what you DIDN’T want to watch. It made the user want to throw the damn thing in a sanitorium or in a Nevada desert. Also, the battery door would fall off at random intervals.

You also couldn’t get one of Scott Hall either. It was always being deported,.,somewhere
