Someone Bought This: The Razor Ramon razor necklace is a real cut-up…

Razor Ramon razor necklace

Remember that Razor Ramon foam razor that I couldn’t believe they made?

Same deal with this Razor Ramon razor necklace.

WWE marketed and sold a necklace of a cocaine cutting tool for a character who was portrayed as an illegal immigrant drug dealer (and a good guy at that!) to kids.

I wonder how many parents bought this for their kids and had no clue?

    Aren’t these necklaces trendy now?

    • "The Big Cheese" Paul Kraft says:

If you’re asking me what is or isn’t trendy, then boy are you asking the wrong person. 🙂

I’ll let the bad guys from Wreck-It-Ralph take it from here

And this wasn’t the attitude era either, this was fully in the kid-friendly New Generation era. Didn’t Scott Hall pitch this character based entirely on the fact that Vince didn’t get it and just thought it was a cool gimmick lol

    • "The Big Cheese" Paul Kraft says:

I believe Scott pitched it, and was surprised that Vince had never seen Scarface, so Vince thought the idea was an original one which Scott came up with. Vince loved it.

      • John C says:

I’m sure the only Scarface, Vince ever knew about was the 1930’s version were they weren’t cutting up lines o’ toot. Or maybe Vince thought Scarface was a reference to either Dusty or Abdullah.

        • Tempest_Fennac says:

I think I read somewhere that Scott didn’t like the gimmick which Mr. McMahon wanted him to have (the idea was for him to become Pvt. Scott Hall, who would be Sgt. Slaughter’s protégé).

I heard that Tammy Sytch was pretty fond of pearl necklaces back in the day. Just sayin’.

  5. D-Unit says:

Ha! I had this! I wore it to school a bunch of times and the teachers never said anything.

    • "The Big Cheese" Paul Kraft says:

They probably just thought it was some weird thing the kids were into.. and I guess they were right. hehe.

If something happen to this necklace…something gonna happen to you…CHICO!
