WWF Stone Cold Metal CD album Steve Austin

Stone Cold Metal is a compilation of metal/rock songs apparently approved by Stone Cold Steve Austin himself!

Boy, oh boy!

Let’s take a look at the track listing:

Song Band
Rock You Like a Hurricane Scorpions
God of Thunder Kiss
Balls To The Wall Accept
Perfect Strangers Deep Purple
Breaking The Chains Dokken
Dreams I’ll Never See Molly Hatchet
Stranglehold Ted Nugent
Detroit Rock City Kiss
Rainbow in the Dark Dio
No One Like You Scorpions
Slow Ride Foghat
On Through The Night Def Leppard
Rain The Cult
Stone Cold Rainbow

Foghat? Dokken? KISS? Def Leppard?

Geez, for a Bad Ass, Steve Austin sure listens to a lot of schlocky mainstream crap…

Gee, it’s almost as if WWE just compiled any song they could get the rights to use cheaply and just slapped Stone Cold’s picture on the front or something…

If there was a Linda McMahon metal compilation it would involve her favorite fax tone rings over phonelines. Music to soothe her robotic core.

  2. Sean Bateman says:

When I hear Perfect Strangers, I want the production crew to cut the fucking music for Shane Douglas

  3. Chris the Bambikiller says:

A Linda McMahon album would definitely have to include Kraftwerk’s “We are the Robots”.

  4. El Atomico says:

Totally disagree, that tracklisting rocks!!!! Much better, even today, than the nu-metal crap that was the flavor of the month at the time.

  5. MistaMaddog says:

More like Stone Cold Classic Rock…

ECW has the same type of CD out at the time with cover versions of the licensed theme songs. At least they had Motorhead doing “Enter Sandman” so it’s not that bad.

  6. Jeff says:

My mom had this CD back in the day.

Still crap music but hey, we liked wrestling and she enjoyed the stuff.

My brother has this. There is also a Stone Cold Country CD, which he also has.
