Jeff Jarrett signed guitar

Crapper Jim Venzke writes:

I saw this and Wrestlecrap came to mind immediately…  an autographed Jeff Jarrett guitar!!!

MSRP: $349.99, but it can now be yours for $59.99  (83% off!!!).  Throw in an extra $20 and JJ will go over to the TNA warehouse and personalize it for you…

I can’t believe that Jeff is still desperately clinging to the “guitar breaking” gimmick which goes all the way back to his stupid Country Music Star gimmick from his first WWF run in 1995.

That’s kind of sad.

I’m reminded of a quote…

“Jeff Jarrett broke a thousand guitars, and never drew a dime” -Mike Graham.

Anyway, the guitar is actually priced pretty reasonable now that it’s on sale. It’s not a bad deal if you’re a big Jeff Jarrett fan I guess.

But that original MSRP price is just nuts! And $20 more just to have it personalized? Give me a break!

If Jeff really needs the money that badly, can’t he just hit up Dixie’s daddy for a loan?

Anyway, thanks for the submission, Jim!

I never had a problem with Jarrett during his WWF Run(s). Heck, even in WCW, he only got the mega-push in 2000 because Vince Russo had a hard-on for him. But when he started acting like Superman in TNA, here’s how it broke down: If you liked WWE, you had to witness Triple H bury people much more deserving than how they were handled. If you watched TNA for an alternative, Jarrett was doing the same thing to the entire roster, weather they were beneath him or not. Granted, his run as TNA’s top dog was maybe 2-3 years and in hindsight isn’t too long, but when it’s the first few years, it leaves a bad taste in the mouth of fans plunking down money for a $10 PPV every week when Double J is winning 99% of his matches, no matter how many people run in against him.

    …I have no words.

  3. John says:

“Dear Mr. Jarrett could you sign it for my friend, Wayne Ferris.”

  4. Thomas Moffatt says:

Reason I never got into TNA was Jeff Jarrett – watched about two episodes and I swear the announcers were receiving bonuses for how many times they could mention his name…

  5. Alan says:

“Jeff Jarrett: Double G, double O, double N, double E, GONE!”-Vince McMahon publicly firing Jeff Jarrett on the night of the final Nitro, 3-26-2001. That kind of thing happens when JR lets Jarrett’s contract lapse & JJ holds up Vince for $300 grand.

  6. Martin Perkins says:

    Laser engraved

  7. Chris says:

It’s 45 bucks if you go to this link:

But not option to get it signed there. 😉

  8. Steve "Hard Rock" Diamond says:

Is the guitar playable? or just a gimmick?

  9. Two Count Kev says:

Am I the only one amused by the “Previous in Jeff Jarrett” link?

  10. bret_owen99 says:

I got a JJ guitar at a TNA houseshow 2 years ago. I got it signed by about 14 TNA wrestlers. It’s 2 years later, and only a couple of those wrestlers are still with TNA #Priceless

  11. Mark says:

The Mike Graham “drawing a dime” quote might be my all-time favorite wrestling quote, just for the sheer absurdity who said it. (Not to make ill will of the dead).

  12. Paul R. from says:

I love how they charge $20 extra for something that *devalues* the item. An unpersonalized autographed item is always gonna have a higher resale value than a personalized one!

  13. Mr Maddog says:

I’m not buying it unless it has the words “Don’t Piss Me Off’ on the back.

  14. 80's Guy says:

I’ve always hated Jarrett and thought he was an extremely overrated hack job. I dislike Nash with a passion, too, and think the same thing about him. Extremely overrated.
