WWF RIcky The Dragon Steamboat Hasbro figure

In 1992 Hasbro and WWE decided to make a figure of Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat during that weird time when he came to the ring looking like a real dragon and breathing fire (!).

The figure’s special finishing move is “The Steamboat Springer” which sounds like what Jerry Springer would name his large boat.

Does include weird dragon head accessory thing that makes him look like a Jurassic Park reject as illustrated.

(“Ahem, I believe you’re referring to a Dilophosaurus, Mr. Kraft. You know, the ones that spit poison?” says the dinosaur nerds).

Sadly, does not include any way to make him shoot flames out of his mouth.

At least not without a can of spray deodorant and a lighter, anyway…

“Dilophosaurus had neither of those traits in real life, they were only made up for the novel and films,” says the dinosaur nerds.

    Research! Catch the fever!

Oh! I thought they were real dinosaurs (or based on one, anyway). That’s interesting! 🙂

      • Chris Velociraptor says:

No, they were a real dinosaur. They just did not spit poison. That was just to spice them up for the fiction.
