WWF Magazine trading cards Undertaker balloon Funeral coach hearse

I was reading this page on the Torch website about trading cards in WWF Magazine (see the rest of the cards here) when I saw this picture he put up on the site of some of the cards.

There’s a lot of WrestleCrap gimmicks there, but what I want to focus on is that huge The Undertaker balloon and Funeral Coach.

If you went to a WWF house show in 1995, odds are you saw the balloon, or the Funeral Coach, or both outside the arena.

I wonder if the balloon is still in the WWE warehouse somewhere?

They were still using that Undertaker balloon as late as the Attitude Era. I remember seeing it in St. Louis at Survivor Series 1998 along with another giant balloon of Stone Cold Steve Austin.

  2. Scrooge McSuck says:

That is one awful picture of Well Dunn. Well (formerly Rex King) looks like a slack-jawed yokel, and Dunn (Formerly Steve Doll) looks like he’s failing an audience for a male strip joint.

Yes, I believe it is located next to Nipple H’s old balloons from the early 2000s’ in the warehouse.

Looks like they stole the A-Team’s van.

It’s not New Generation WrestleCrap without Duke f***ing Droese, now is it?

A guy so lame that even Adam Bomb and Doink are held in higher esteem! Hell, maybe even Henry Godwinn!

    • "The Big Cheese" Paul Kraft says:

Oh now you’re just talking trash about the poor guy! (See, ’cause.. he’s a garbage man, and… yeah).

      • Vince B says:

The fact that he got to have any kind of prominence at all (namely, Royal Rumble ’96) is just plain sad. Of course, Royal Rumble ’96 as a whole isn’t great aside from the WWF debut of Vader and maybe the Bret/Taker match.

Is there a full article about Duke Droese on the site somewhere? He deserves one.

Love the color scheme on those cards.

  7. Anonymous says:

    Not totally lame.

I own a full, uncut sheet of these babies. And I’m proud to say I saw that Undertaker balloon in-person; they had it at WrestleMania XI.
