Someone Bought This: Blind your kids with the WWE Kids magazine!

WWE Kids magazine 3 issues

A few years ago WWE produced a WWE Kids magazine for kids aged 6 to 14.

And they apparently felt it was necessary to use as much neon and clashing colors as humanly possible on the cover of each and every issue of the magazine.

Why?

TO MAKE IT EXTREME!!!!

WWE Kids magazine Undertaker

A Smackdown Vs. Raw game is “The Best Video Game Ever”?

I’m sorry, but that title clearly goes to the NES port of Arlanid!

Not to sound like Grandpa Simpson or anything but when I was a youngster in the late 80’s and early 90’s  we had the plain ol’ one-size-fits-all WWF Magazine and we liked it, dangnabit!

See? We had actual pictures of wrestlers, and subtle use of muted colors! None of this fancy-schmancy neon stuff that hurts your eyes!

We didn’t want puzzles or games! We wanted to read articles, see pictures, and get suckered into buying crap we didn’t need! Simple!

Anyway, if you really want to read the old magazines (why?!) you can get three random issues right here at The Wrestling Superstore!

The old school WWE mags need more Bill Apter!

Never played “Arlanid” as a kid … and I thought you were showing that game’s box just as an example of more neon colors clashing wildly 😉

Yikes, that Cena cover. I thought WWE wanted “wellness” these days…

Re: the close-up on the Undertaker cover–interesting that the WWE latched onto the Pixar/Cars movie. Was that a legit tie-in, or a ripoff?

P.S. Have to give them credit for using old-school gimmicks for the little face icon next to the WWE logo, which kiddies in the 2000s were never going to get! I see Papa Shango on the top-left…and is that Max Moon in the bottom middle?!
