When he’s not busy with his life’s mission of burning bridges, Troy Lowe finds time to create belt designs for Universal Championship Belts, which you can check out "here"!!!
I’d like to see some WCW takes on this. Also, I registered for the forum five days ago, but my account is still pending approval. How long does that usually take? I have some groundbreaking comments to make on how Daniel Bryan’s talents are being wasted!
In the lower right corner it says The Nation’s number 1 wrestling magazine. THAT’S FUNNY. Everybody knows that Pro Wrestling Illustrated sold more copies than WWF Magazine.
The Powers of Pain and Demolition…yeah WWF were desperate for a Road Warrior type team. However, Demolition used to be entertaining. Powers of Pain, not so much.
As for that comment about Hercules…that could be said about a lot of guys that came and went. Let’s face it…I think Vince’s passion for promoting is to promote bodybuilding. He only stuck with wrestling because the rest of his projects fell through. Outside of WWE where has Vinny Mac been successful?
I have the original magazine. The top line is supposed to read:
Powers of Pain
Strive to Stay Alive in Survivor Series
And guess what they did when they last eliminated the conquistadores, given an assist by Mr. Fuji
It would be a good idea to show the March 1993 issue of WWF Magazine with Razor Ramon on the cover but the tag line itself is already actually hilarious where it reads
The Steiner Brothers
Can These Brothers Beat off the Beverlys, lol
To be fair, that was the whole point of the characters. The Powers of Pain were put together in WCW to feud with the Road Warriors. The story was they were going to destroy and replace Hawk & Animal.
Look we even have a manager that’s a dead ringer for Paul Ellering in the Baron.
FINALLY!!!! I’ve been waiting forever to see WWF Magazine on here, and RD delivers. WOO-HOO!! 😀 Next up, WCW Magazine.
I’ve actually met the Barbarian at church when I lived in Charlotte, NC for a bit. Nicest guy I have ever met.
But i can’t disagree on ANYTHING in this cover. 🙂

Perhaps it’s referring to The Rock’s 1998 stable, The Nation…
The team should have been called, ‘The Power’s of Painful to watch’.

King1836- maybe they meant the magazine that Farooq liked to read best? O:)
Maybe you’re right LOL

Depends on which “Nation” we are talking about.
For years, I’ve said that the Powers Of Pain were bigger Road Warrior rip-offs than Demolition. Nice to see that someone else agrees.
