I can say without hyperbole I’ve never been more excited for a match ever.  Matt Hardy shooting Brother Nero with a ROMAN CANDLE?

Now THAT’s how you celebrate our country’s independence!

Yeah, you know...the WrestleCrap guy. Been here since before day 1, I have. You can hang out with me on Facebook. (I'm on there quite a bit) or follow my exploits on Twitter (I'm on there not quite so often). Thanks, and Keep on Crappin'!

Ok…i’ve not watched TNA in years…i simply can’t care anymore…but are you telling me the final confrontation of the hardy’s ‘brother nero’ angle takes place in their backyard? This is one of their biggest angles ever and there is no gate, no arena, no fans? just…nothing…

i am assuming this WILL be on the Gooker list this year, right? Please? I don’t want to wait a whole year to read about this madness….

Oh please tell me that Jason Pierre Paul is the special guest referee. No count outs though as you need 10 fingers for that.

  3. Jimbolian says:

Well to be fair, they did backyard wrestling as kids. But screw it, I’ll watch for (Wrestlecrap) entertainment!

  4. "The Big Cheese" Paul Kraft says:

    Amazing…

  5. Geoff says:

But… but… but… it looks so official like. It looks so TNA- esque. I’d be captivated too if it weren’t for the fact it came from TNA and the mind of Dixie Carter who spent half her fortune on starting a cupcake business.

  6. Thomas Hastings says:

I am simply boggled by the whole angle. If I didn’t know I would think they were trying to win the Gooker…deliberately and with malice and forethought. But, no, they seem to think this is actually going to make money and draw ratings. Amazing and sad. Because Matt vs. Jeff done right could have been great. But this oy my head hurts.

On the one hand, it’s TNA’s most talked about angle in years. On the other, it’s having no effect whatsoever on ratings and the (seeming) blowoff is on TV. TNA are on a real WCW 2000-01 kick at the moment, in more ways than one.

The Final Deletion: that sounds like it would be the end of a feud between two sternographers.

My perdiction, somebody gets hit in the eye with something so it will resemble the Terry Funk-Jerry Lawler empty arena brawl. Too bad Lance Russell can’t call this one instead of whoever does TNA.

It’s too bad Matt got self aware of how dumb the other video was because this just looked like when a bad director hears his movie is mocked and then tries to play it off as being intentionally bad. See Tommy Wiseau and The Room as a perfect example of that phenomenon.

  8. Hulk6785 says:

I have no idea what’s going on, but I can’t ask anyone about it because I doubt anyone who’s been following TNA can tell me what’s going on.

  9. Paul Sebert says:

Don’t forget the Impact Preview that wishes us a “safe and happy Fourth of July” right after showing Matt Hardy shooting fireworks at Jeff.
