It Came From YouTube: WWF Superstars care about their fans- even Big Daddy Cool Diesel cares!

Crapper Surfer Sandman sent this in and writes:

Crapper Surfer Sandman here. I just wanted to submit the following Youtube video featuring Diesel in a PSA from the mid-90s.

It has german subtitles for some reason.

Figured you’d be interested. Let me me know!

That began like The Godfather (I mean the mob movie, not the upbeat, marijuana-smoking pimp) and ended like an episode of Full House. Talk about a 180!

Sure; Kevin Nash may be a politicking, manipulative jerk who held talent down backstage; but he has a heart of gold when it comes to the kids, dangnabit!

I’m sure the shallow talent pool was just thrilled about having to do endless hours of autograph sessions for kids as a show of good public relations without making a dime of profit when business was in the toilet.

I heard that Diesel later tore up those kids’ very same autograph books and then shoved them to the ground before stealing their money out of their tiny WWF branded wallets when he turned heel later on…

Thanks for the submission, Surfer Sandman! That was fantastic!

  1. Nick Nutter says:

Didn’t he cut a promo on Nitro about how he can charge $50 instead of $20 for a photo because he had the belt not three years later? Even if I didn’t know that, the thought of Nash turning down money made me laugh out loud.

    • "The Big Cheese" Paul Kraft says:

He could charge anything he wants, but I doubt anyone would give him $50 for a photo even during his peak. Typical Nash bullcrap.

  2. Peter says:

Haha, this is why I love coming to this website, I was thinking of this commercial a while ago.

  3. MisterSpiffy says:

I think this was during the baseball strike

  4. TMM says:

Is that how they got the idea for the Salvatore Sincere character ?

  5. Paul R. from says:

The photo in the guitar case; did he sign it “TROMAZ”? It sure doesn’t look like “DIESEL”.
