Hello. Got this submission from WWE’s Youtube channel:

News has gotten out that WWE physician Dr. Chris Amann is suing CM Punk for the comments he made about him on Colt Cabana’s podcast back in November of last year. WWE’s gotten on to backing Amann and posted this video on YouTube showing off up-close shots of Punk’s arse during the 2014 Royal Rumble to attempt showing that his claims about his MRSA infection were false.

While one can judge for themselves if they can see the infection,
imagine whomever had to put this together must feel seeing so much of Punk’s behind.

WWE is either really smart, or really stupid by posting this video. I’ll let you Crappers decide which…

Something interesting I read is that a staph infection is not necessarily readily visible on the outside; rather it is more internal than external.

That being said, there was an outside doctor who diagnosed the infection and treated it afterwards. If there are medical records showing a progressed stage of staph infection, WWE is going to be eating a $h!tload of crow, and the results will make them none too happy.

That being said, I don’t see Punk being the type to lie like a Hogan about something of this nature, and I hope to hell he slams the f*ck out of the WWE for this. It could open doors for better treatment of the talent, as well as giving their massive f**king egos a well deserved slap in the c0ck$uckers.

WWE is no longer profitable. If this leads to them getting sued or increases their operating costs then they’re DONE. I don’t expect that there will be a major nationwide wrestling organization in America in 10 years. I’d say 15 is pretty much guaranteed to be enough time for WWE to go bankrupt if that happens.

      • "The Big Cheese" Paul Kraft says:

        They’re still very much profitable.

I wouldn’t say WWE is dying. They have been in a lot worse situations in the past. The mid 90s steroid scandal? WCW and the nWo kicking their asses in the ratings? The attitude era fizzling out during 2001 and 2002? The death of Chris Benoit?

    • Guest says:

If by better treatment you mean giving guys with an overinflated ego everything handed to them on a silver platter (even when they’ve had more than enough) that’s the kind of trend you don’t want to be setting, plus I would think the general consensus is that when it comes to the medical care of the talent WWE, is leagues better than an organization like TNA.

    Can’t it be both?

  3. George Nolan says:

Now why do I keep thinking of Billy Gunn’s old “Ass Man” theme as I watch this video?

Now I now what it feels like to live inside of Pat Patterson’s brain.

Dr. Tongue’s 3D House of CM Punk’s Ass.

  6. Adam says:

    Stay classy, WWE.

I’m not even sure where to look, without an arrow or something, so even for “New York” this seems pointless.

    • Billy says:

From what I’ve read elsewhere, Punk had already said that the spot was covered by the waistband of his shorts, which also helped hide the bulge.

Last December, when he was showing the scar, it looked like it was around the area that would be covered.

  7. Drew says:

Thank God they never needed to do something like this with Dusty.

If this makes it into the actual trial phase this might be a whopper of a situation – Punk probably won’t back down, and Mcdevitt will probably do anything in his power to make him look bad. And some poor jury’s going to have to sit there and stare at Zapruder footage of CM Punk’s ass.

  9. Scrooge McSuck says:

This is going to get worse before it gets better….

  10. Isaac says:

These kinds of lawsuits generally fail; Punk is essentially a customer of the doctor, and his podcast with Cabana was similar to a customer leaving a “bad review” on something like Yelp.com. Businesses generally can’t sue people for having opinions about the services they received…even if the opinions are wrong. It’s protected free speech. If Punk were a competing doctor, or paid by one under the table or something, there might be a case here. If Punk were mounting some kind of campaign against the doctor, that would be something. But he basically just included his crappy medical care as one of many reasons why he left WWE, on a podcast that wasn’t medicine-related. On the surface, I’d think it would take a terrible jury, terrible luck, or terrible lawyers for Punk to lose this.

The lawsuit is probably just ass-covering by Amann, and an attempt to try to get Punk or Cabana to issue an apology rather than go through a lengthy/expensive trial. It may work, depending on how stubborn Punk is. I wonder if the fact that Punk is definitely competing in UFC this year has anything to do with Amann waiting months to sue. Maybe Punk is more likely to decide it’s not worth a lengthy legal battle right now?

This is lees like a usual WWE falling out, and more of a messy break-up.

  12. Thun says:

We all know CM Punk’s kinda an ass, but I think that might be going over the top, ‘E.

CM Punk to induct Rikishi into the HOF 2015?

  14. BaltoJim says:

Somebody needs to insert the reaction shots from the “Stacy Keibler Becomes Mr. McMahon’s Assistant” video into this one after each time the camera locks on to Punk’s ass.

The video is missing audio, so here’s a soundtrack for it… https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BTk2zF9gM5U
