It Came From YouTube: The most exciting Eric Bishoff footage you’ll ever see

The specifics of the storyline here escape my fragile memory, but Eric Bischoff was forced to do menial grunt work under kayfabe WCW President Ric Flair, including putting up the WCW Monday Nitro ring.

Yes, they actually spent time showing this on Nitro instead of.. you know… showing wrestlers wrestling.

Apparently; somebody thought that Flair making Bischoff his plaything, and hearing Bischoff whine and complain while doing a really bad job setting up the ring as Klondike Bill berates him would make for entertaining television.

They were wrong as they so often were.

Look out in the audience! It looks like a 2000 Thunder taping!

Hmm.. If you replace Ric Flair & Doug Dillinger with Dusty Rhodes, and you replace Eric Bischoff with Stephanie McMahon, this concept could possibly be entertaining 🙂

    • "The Big Cheese" Paul Kraft says:

Stephanie bending over a lot… Okay, I think I see where you’re going with this, and i approve. 🙂

  2. phillip sanders says:

Correction. the man berating Eric Bishoff is NOT Doug Dillinger. It is actually the wcw ring crew worker Klondike Bill. He helped set the ring up for wcw for years and started many wrestlers and announcers with the job eric bischoff is doing when they first came to wcw including Tony Schiavone . Bill was the ring crew worker. Doug was in charge of wcw’s secturity.

  3. John says:

“Okay Bill where do we set up the trap door for Warrior’s entrance. I hope I do it right so no one gets hurt.”

I guess this could have been worse it’s not like they ever gave Bischoff a fake talk show or anything like that.

  4. Mister Forth says:

Did he think of himself as a master carpenter after screwing one of the bolts in?

  5. 80's Guy says:

Bischoff was actually pretty funny in this with his complaining and back talk.

    • "The Big Cheese" Paul Kraft says:

See, but we already know he’s a whiney heel. We didn’t need a 3 minute segment of this to drive that point home.

  6. Anonymous says:

WCW should have called their show “WCW Monday Night Bankruptcy” or “WCW Monday Night RatingsSuicide”. It’s like they were TRYING to go out of business.

  7. GeneMean says:

That’s more entertaining than anything else WCW was doing at the time.
