It Came From YouTube: The Fink loves the new, weird Undertaker figure!

Howard Finked talks about the new Mattel Undertaker Defining Moments action figure (buy it through this link and help support the site, Crappers!) and I have some random thoughts:

  1. Fink could read the phone book and sound awesome doing it.
  2. I can’t believe they’re celebrating 25 years of The Undertaker by releasing a figure commemorating how he looked in a very forgettable, heatless match with The Big Boss Man of all things! Why did they pick this moment instead of making a figure of how he looked at the 1990 Survivor Series instead?
  3. Hey, remember all the crucifying and blood drinking and ritualistic sacrifice stuff with The Ministry Of Darkness? Aren’t you surprised WWE wants to remind you of it in this video?
  4. Speaking of embarrassing angles, remember when The Undertaker hung Boss Man  from the cage at WrestleMania XV and it was magically lifted up? Because… ATTITUDE!l Thank you, Vince Russo.
  5. Does come with detachable cloth cape as illustrated!
  6. That’s a nice hobo beard, Howard! Now can you yell out “CHANGE? YOU GOT ANY CHANGE?!”?

The sick collector part of me cringes when I see a package opened like that. PG Era clip not showing the Bossman hanging from the Cell but that’s sports entertainment at it’s best. Surely everyone remembers all the great Thesz-O’Connor hanging matches from the late 50’s. But any Taker figure not from The Underbiker time is a good thing.

Agree. But have to say that the Underbiker theme of “Rolling” (instrumental too) was pretty awesome. I saw a Youtube vid where Fred Durst actually came out and sung the song to Taker riding down the ramp. Other than that, his best gimmick, I’m sorry to say, was Ministry Taker. Followed closely by Outlaw Taker. Heck he could have a stable full of Taker gimmicks and it would be as big as the Corporate Ministry

During the “Underbiker” era, I remember Jim Ross incessantly trying to make the nickname “Booger Red” happen.

  4. Brad says:

If he were a hobo I would give him 20 bucks just to announce me as the NEEEEW! WORLD WRESTLING FEDERATION CHAMPION

or I would settle for THE IN……..TERCON-TINENTAL CHAMPION!

    Acolytes, The Brood and Mideon…..

    No mention of Viscera?

I guess they don’t want us to associate the Undertaker with a real deadman.
