I forgot just how much I hated Todd Pettengill until I saw this.

Ugh…

Hey look, it’s Charlie Minn!

Do you hate people? Is that why on a Monday morning this festering canker sour of evil should appear for 5 straight minutes. There should be a parental warning in front of this video, it may cause irritation, nausea, remembering the mid-90’s, depression and yes even inability to perform bedroom activities. I’ve looked into the eyes of evil and he smiled back and said, “Todd Pettingill will imitate Dick Vitale”. I sobbed for 6 weeks in a row.

Talk about a cavalcade of Wrestlecrap! We got:

    -Spastic Charlie Minn
-Santa “What the Hell Did I Sign Myself Into?” Dox
-Shilling Domino’s Pizza over a Undertaker vs. Underfaker plug
    -The Slammy Awards ’96
-The exact moment Shawn Michaels actually lost his smile after hearing a dreadful mashup of his theme song

….and oh yeah, Todd Pettengill too…

  3. Thomas Moffatt says:

Just think that Michael Cole replaced Todd Pettengill… would be like replacing Scrappy Doo with Jar JAr Binks…

  4. Thomas Moffatt says:

Surely this should have been the Least Worst of Todd Pettengill? Plus he was replaced by Michael Cole which is kind of like replacing Scrappy Doo with Jar Jar Binks.

AND speaking of crap announcers, when is Tony Dawson going to get his induction?

  5. Sean Bateman says:

Todd’s best is fit for Wrestlecrap

  6. Art0Donnell says:

I wonder what fans in the UK thought of the “thickly-padded fanny-holders” Todd mentioned?

  7. Mister Forth says:

Man do I now remember what was so goofy about him.

  8. Reidah says:

This jerkwhistle was a perfect fit for WWF at that time.

  9. Doc 902714 says:

Saw Todd Pettengill on a Best of WWF In Your House DVD set. Not much has changed really except that he appears to have grown up a bit in dress and appearance. I loved his opening: “Welcome to the Best of WWE In Your House. 1995 was callin’ and look who answered their call.” Indeed.

P.S. Did Funaki get his inspiration from Charlie Minn?

    • "The Big Cheese" Paul Kraft says:

My problem with Todd’s schtick is that he was just trying too hard to be the Wacky Morning DJ type and that grated on my nerves really fast.
