It Came From YouTube: Shawn Michaels’ theme song as sung by who? (No, not Jim Jim Neidhart)

Crapper Christian Grimmett writes:

This is an unused version of Shawn Michaels theme.

That may sound ordinary, but listen to the singer. Doesn’t he sound.., Familiar?

Of course, it’s not confirmed, but a lot of people have picked up on the singer sounding suspiciously like good ol’ Vinnie Mac.

I guess I’ll leave it up to you.

I’m 99% sure that’s a pitch-shifted Vince we’re hearing, yeah.

When I bought WWF The Music Volume 2, I was so disappointed we got this instead of the real version of the song.

Fortunately the album does have some other good songs on it!

    Dig the gospel-style backing vocals

Holy Stand Back Batman, I’ve got a feeling Vinny Mac probably had his pants down to the ankles when he was belting this one out.

It sounds like a cross between Vince McMahon and Roger Daltrey from The Who.

Eh, just sounds like Shawn Michaels to me, and I have this CD. Never even crossed my mind that it was Vince.

  5. Gaz says:

Ladies and Gentleman, a genuine audio recording from Vince’s shower room.

  6. Matt says:

    Sounds like Michael Hayes.

Ya know, back in the late 90’s, if you went to music stores (sometimes even Wal-Mart), and looked in the section with all the wrestling music CDs, there would occasionally be a CD by some unknown band of nobodies doing covers of wrestling themes. I’m willing to bet that this came off of one of those.

It sounds like McMahon… It sounds like SHANE McMAHON!
