Yes, it’s Freddy Krueger vs. The Big Bossman in (where else?) Japan.

Sadly, we never got Freddy Vs. Jason Vs. Ash Vs. Stubby Vs. Bossman for a true cinematic masterpiece.

Didn’t Leatherface become something of a wrestling legend in Japan?

Portrayed by WWE wrestler Corporal Kirchner, I think?

“Infamous” would be a more accurate description than “legendary”. Dude was a legit psychopath who was known for attacking fans for real.

“Freddy, you’re the nasty bastard son of a 1,000 maniacs! And you’re momma said so!”

  3. Mister Forth says:

It’s a shame he wasn’t there to wrestle that remake.

  4. Sean Bateman says:

Which Freddy Kruger is that? I s it a Gilbert???

  5. Doc 902714 says:

I used to use the LJN wrestling figure of George the Animal Steele with a Ken Doll Lumberjack sweater to portray Freddy Krueger back when I was a Kid

  6. Scrooge Mcsuck says:

This was one of Boss Man’s final in-ring appearances, IIRC. Shame. Too young.

This is way more entertaining than I expected it to be.

Also, it’s amazing to see how back then japanese wrestling was successful enough that even an indie promotion could draw that many spectators. Nowadays it would be like 30 people in a rec center sitting around gym mats instead of a ring.
