It Came From YouTube: Do as WWE says, not as they do.

For years now WWE has been promoting the idea of stopping bullying.

So Be A Star and don’t be a bully!

Great!

Except there’s just one little problem…

Wrestling by its’ very nature is all about heels bullying faces and often not facing any consequences for their bullying.

So kids might see the real Stephanie talking about how bad bullying is up there in the PSA, but they also see her character being a cold, heartless bully to The Big Show on Raw:

D’oh!.

Talk about sending mixed messages.

This would be like the NFL putting out PSAs discouraging tackling in youth football even though they allow it in their own games.

So parents, if you don’t want to encourage bullying then you should really B.A * and stop letting your kids watch WWE altogether!

  1. John C says:

Big Billy Busick does not approve of this message.

  2. Geoff says:

Didn’t you mean Big Bully Busick? Wasn’t he managed by Harvey Whippleman? In an era when WWE/F was almost complete crap. Wrestlecrap that is.

    • Tempest_Fennac says:

He was there in ’91. I think he only lasted a few months and was apparently replaced in one awful Survivor Series match by Hercules.

Which ironic given how Big Show is when he’s being a heel. That and the fact almost no one cares about Big Show these days.
