You know I’ve been looking for so long for the DVD not because I WANT to see the movie, but just to know that it exists…

After all, this one trailer….this one trailer…can we even call this a film? The guy playing Andre looks like shit…or a guy in a Carlito wig….in fact I think that’s exactly what it is!

Ha! Yeah, this one really mystified me when I saw it a few years ago. It looks like it was shot with about a $500 budget. I don’t know anyone who’s seen the actual movie except for this trailer.

I like how in Andre’s P.O.V shots in the beginning he’s about 20 feet tall judging from how high up his perspective is.

What a disgrace to Andre’s legacy.

Thanks for the submission, Sean!

  1. John says:

How could a movie with the star of Son of the Beach Roland Kickinger ever be bad. It looks like the same quality production crew that made the un-shocking secrets of pro wrestling revealed show.

    • "The Big Cheese" Paul Kraft says:

I think “Pro Wrestling Secrets Revealed” had slightly better production values… but not by much.

    • Eric S says:

Son of the Beach was a fantastic show. 2nd best thing Timothy Stack was in.

      • John says:

It was a fun show but really do you think Roland “Not The Terminator” is someone you put into an actual feature film.

        • Paul R. from says:

But Roland *was* the terminator! He was Arnold’s body double as the t-800 in terminator salvation. And he also played Arnold in some stupid (Lifetime?) made-for-TV movie after he was elected governor of California.

  2. Sir Cheese says:

IMDB estimates the budget for this “movie” at $8 million. Wow, just wow.

    • "The Big Cheese" Paul Kraft says:

I don’t doubt that IMDB says that, but I very much doubt the movie cost anything close to $8 million. Or even $1 million. Or even $5,000.

  3. Matt says:

… I’m still trying to figure out what I just saw… did they just do a full blown comedy about Andre the Giant’s life? Seriously? A fricken comedy!? So that’s what we get for an Andre the Giant movie… a terrible comedy instead of a serious, down to earth movie that shows life in Andre’s shoes. Wow, just wow! I actually felt offended watching this trailer, and it most definitely fits the WrestleCrap mold! May god have mercy on this movie’s soul!

  4. Jeff says:

I didn’t know Andre had a tattoo on his shoulder blade.

  5. I'm Not Using My Real Name says:

I tried to find this movie, I thought it was a joke. The myspace page for the film says you can buy the DVD only at Sadly the site doesn’t exist. I guess the world will miss out on this one.

  6. Two Count Kev says:

    Another Alan Smithee classic!

  7. Jason Liverman says:

I just listed my copy for sale. I bought it from that website years ago when Myspace was still around.

Well, they are more options –

    1. – Rokki James, director of Andre Heart of the Giant is big joker. He made comedy “Planet of the
Pitts” with has very good comment on IMDB, but may be that this movie not even exist and all coments is just Rokkis friends who support his joke – unexist movie. So may be Andre Heart of the Giant is second joke of this type from Rokki James Hollywood aka Drew Sky born as Andres Rokki Archontakis.

2 – Second option is that he first like to make real good drama movie with Matthew McGrory(Big Fish and more movies), but he die when start shooting. Movie was almost canceled but than find new actor Daniel Gilchrist. May be studio cancel movie but Rokki make at least cheap comedy for his own money, if it’s Planet of the Pitts real movie and is good like in cometaries than Andre is may be
    also good but cheap commedy.

3 – Rokki make just this trailer like joke and death of Matthew McGrory is just random accident but
    support believability of this trailer.

4 – May be all this is type of joke popular type of joke between some sorts of humorists. May be
all Rokki names and movies is false(include Andres Rokki Archontakis) and his whole persone is false also – may be some real actor create his person like big joke(or someone other)… Even death of Matthew McGrory is may be false(if not R.I.P, you was big actor and I not mean your tall), who knows… may be even Andy Kaufman is still(also) alive… 😉

this makes “No Holds Barred” look awesome by comparison

  10. Mister Forth says:

Back in 2006, I first thought this was one of those concept videos to try and get a financial backer. I wasn’t aware this was the actual movie.

  11. Ryan says:

hahahaha, i must see this whole film. hilarious!

  12. Anonymous says:

That’s the poorest likeness I’ve ever seen in a biopic.

  13. Sean Bateman says:

This needs Vince McMahon singing Stand Back….. (Stand Back) That’s a fact!

  14. Joel Kazoo says:

To be fair, he does *sound* like Andre, tho that’s probably ADR. Better off just watching WWE’s documentary.
